Most of these galleries record my voyages around Europe, starting when I first moved to France in March of 2005. I feel like I should note here that while most of the sections of my site are things I do professionally, photography is not one of them. You'll see when you look at these galleries, I just take regular vacation snapshots like anybody else. I've been very lucky to have had the opportunity to point my crappy camera at some pretty incredible things, though.

Travel Galleries

	Reunion Island, March 2009 I spent ten days on Reunion Island, aka L'Ile de la Réunion, in the Indian Ocean next to Madagascar. I had tons of crazy adventures: scuba diving, horseback riding, paragliding, hiking up volcanos, etc!
	Berlin, August 2008 Tons of pictures from an action-packed week in Berlin, split up over several entries in my LiveJournal: Part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7.
	Nice, July 2008 My friend Courtney and I popped down to Nice for a day to catch a Leonard Cohen concert. No pictures from the show, but tons of pictures of beautiful Nice in the daytime. Gallery is in my LiveJournal.
	Dracula's Castle, October 8th, 2006 This is actually one part of the big European trip below, but I'm giving it its own entry here since it was such a highlight for me. I went to Romania for a second time to finally visit Castle Poenari in the Arefu Valley in Transylvania. I took lots of pictures and a couple short videos.
	Switzerland, Austria, Romania, Slovakia - October 2006 This was a wonderful month-long voyage consisting of three countries I'd never visited before, and my second visit to one of my all-time favorites, Romania.
	Scotland, September 2006 I took a pretty much unplanned trip to Scotland for a few days!
	Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Montenegro I traveled around the Western Balkans for most of August of 2006, and enjoyed the cities, the mountains, the sea, the food...
	Budapest, November 2005 Part three of three. We swapped apartments for a week with a friend living in Budapest, and had a leisurely, wonderful week in this breathtaking old city.
	Romania, October 2005 Part two of three. Transylvania! Cemeteries! Castles! Mountains! Dracula! All just in time for Halloween! This place was so amazing I thought my brain was going to explode.
	Istanbul, October 2005 Part one of three. I visited Istanbul (not Constantinople) for about five days, and celebrated my thirtieth birthday there.
	Amsterdam, October 2005 A few days spent wandering the streets and canals of this beautiful old city.
	Prague, September 2005 Part two of two. We hitchhiked to from Berlin to Prague to see castles and bridges and lots of freaking puppets.
	Berlin, September 2005 Part one of two. We took an overnight train from Paris to Berlin and spent a few days seeing the sights and meeting new folks. Like, for instance, the pair of grim reapers on the subway.
	Sevilla, July 2005 I visited Sevilla in Southern Spain and met up with my old friend Frederick for adventures and lots and lots and lots and lots of sunshine. Seriously, a lot of sunshine.
	Corfu, April 2005 Part two of two. I was really worried that there was no way my camera could capture how bright and blue and beautiful the water around Corfu was. I was worried for nothin'.
