This is the church right by the hostel! You know, the one with the cemetery I'd been dying to explore. Oh yeah, and there's one of the millions of Romania's stray dogs dozing in the foreground. Seriously, every freaking guidebook or website or whatever about Romania warns you about all the stray dogs, and how a lot of them have rabies. I did see dogs everywhere, and some of them came around begging for food, but none of them were aggressive or visibly rabid. It was fine. Some of them were cute, like this one. I imagine the old caretaker guy I saw wandering around feeds him sometimes.
