After Sighisoara, I hitchhiked to another small town called Medias (pictured above is where I got dropped off and waited for my next ride), and then continued on to the larger city of Sibiu. I'd planned on seeing a lot of Sibiu and then making my way to Dracula's castle in the Arefu Valley in the middle of nowhere, but I came down with a bad stomach virus or something, and so I decided to skip the rest of Transylvania and make my way to Budapest, where I had a comfortable apartment (owned by a friend) waiting for me. So things didn't go exactly as planned, and I ended up taking a train out of Transylvania just after the stroke of midnight on Halloween. I sure as hell will be back, though.
