Exploding bird

32 x 32, 8 colors. This was from a PixelJam where we had to animated an explosion. I got my subject from a comic I drew called Bye Bye Birdie, available in the Original Comics section. I like how the explosion itself turned out, but as someone pointed out, it doesn't really look like it's coming from inside the bird; it looks like it's coming from underneath. So, either the bird should be a lot smaller and lower in the canvas, or the explosion should start more from the center of the bird.
